What are the divisions and ages of each group? 

Divisions by Age: Your division is based on the birth year 

Gremlin Age Group (8 and Under): 100M, 200M, 400M, 800M, 1600M, 4x100 Relay, Long Jump 

Bantam Age Group (9-10 years): 100M, 200M, 400M, 800M, 1600M, 4x100 Relay, 4x400 Relay, High Jump, Long Jump, 6 lb. Shot Put.

Midget Age Group (11-12 years): 80M Hurdles-30”, 100M, 200M, 400M, 800M, 1600M, 3200M, 4x100 Relay, 4x400 Relay, High Jump, Long Jump, 6 lb. Shot Put  

Youth Age Group (13-14 years): 100M Low Hurdles (Boys 33”, Girls 30”), 100M, 200M, 400M, 800M, 1600M, 3200M, 4x100 Relay, 4x400 Relay, High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put (Boys 4 kg, Girls 6 lb) 

Intermediate Age Group (15-18 years): 100M Hurdles-33”, 100M, 200M, 400M, 800M, 1600M, 3200M, 4x100 Relay, 4x400 Relay, High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put-4kg


A competitor in the Gremlin age group through Youth may participate in a maximum of four events with a maximum of three running events. Intermediate athletes may participate in a maximum of any four events. The 4x400 relay is a “free” running event that will not count against an athlete's number of events.


NOTE: Our 15-18 year olds are welcome to participate with us as long as they are not involved in a high school track program. 

  

What events can each age group participate in? 

8 & Under Age Group: 100M, 200M, 400M, 800M, 1600M, 4x100 Relay, Long Jump   

9-10 Age Group: 100M, 200M, 400M, 800M, 1600M, 4x100 Relay, 4x400 Relay, 4x400 Co-ed Relay, High Jump, Long Jump, 6 lb. Shot Put. 

11-12 Age Group: 80M Hurdles-30”, 100M, 200M, 400M, 800M, 1600M, 3200M, 4x100 Relay, 4x400 Relay, 4x400 Co-ed Relay, High Jump, Long Jump, 6 lb. Shot Put   

13-14 Age Group: 100M Low Hurdles (Boys 33”, Girls 30”), 100M, 200M, 400M, 800M, 1600M, 3200M, 4x100 Relay, 4x400 Relay, 4x400 Co-ed Relay, High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put (Boys 4 kg, Girls 6 lb.)  

15-18 Age Group: 100M Hurdles-33”, 100M, 200M, 400M, 800M, 1600M, 3200M, 4x100 Relay, 4x400 Relay, 4x400 Co-ed Relay, High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put- 4kg 

 
A competitor in the 8 & Under age group through 13-14 may participate in a maximum of four events with a maximum of three running events. 15-18 Age Group athletes may participate in a maximum of any four events. The 4x400 relay is a “free” running event that will not count against an athlete’s number of events. There is also a Co-ed 4x400 relay. 
 

How many events can an athlete compete in during a meet? 

Each athlete may compete in a maximum of four (4) events per meet. Additionally, no more than three (3) of the four (4) events can be running events. 


What is the order of running events during the meet? 

Meet Order of Events

3200 meter (MG, MB, YG, YB, IG, IB) 

100 meter hurdles (IB. YB, IG, YG) 

80 meter hurdles (MG, MB) 

4X100 meter relays (GG, GB, BG, BB, MG, MB, YG, YB, IG, IB) 

1600 meter (GG, GB, BG, BB, MG, MB, YG, YB, IG, IB) 

400 meter (GG, GB, BG, BB, MG, MB, YG, YB, IG, IB) 

100 meter (GG, GB, BG, BB, MG, MB, YG, YB, IG, IB) 

800 meter (GG, GB, BG, BB, MG, MB, YG, YB, IG, IB)

*Field events run continuously throughout the meet.  Gremlins begin at 8:15 - LISTEN FOR ANNOUNCEMENTS!
