13-14 Age Group: 100M Low Hurdles (Boys 33”, Girls 30”), 100M, 200M, 400M, 800M, 1600M, 3200M, 4x100 Relay, 4x400 Relay, 4x400 Co-ed Relay, High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put (Boys 4 kg, Girls 6 lb.)

A competitor in the 8 & Under age group through 13-14 may participate in a maximum of four events with a maximum of three running events. 15-18 Age Group athletes may participate in a maximum of any four events. The 4x400 relay is a “free” running event that will not count against an athlete’s number of events. There is also a Co-ed 4x400 relay. Each athlete may compete in a maximum of four (4) events per meet. Additionally, no more than three (3) of the four (4) events can be running events. The event lineup is as follows:Running event order: 3200m Run: Starting with 11-12 girls and going through 15-18 boys 100m Hurdles: Starting with 15-18 boys and going through 13-14 girls 80m Hurdles: 11-12 boys then girls 4x100m Relay: Starting with 8 & under girls and going through 15-18 boys 1600m Run: Starting with 8 & under girls and going through 15-18 boys 400m Dash: Starting with 8 & under girls and going through 15-18 boys 100m Dash: Starting with 8 & under girls and going through 15-18 boys 800m Run: Starting with 8 & under girls and going through 15-18 boys 200m Dash: Starting with 9-10 girls then going through 15-18 boys and ending with 8 & under girls then boys 4x400m Relay: Starting with 9-10 girls and going through 15-18 boys
Field events:
Long Jump: 8 & under girls and going through 15-18 boys High Jump: 9-10 girls then going through 15-18 boys Shot Put:15-16 girls going through to 9-10 boys
Practice Information: Practice at track begins at 5:30 and is an hour, or maybe a bit longer. PLEASE LABEL ALL JACKETS AND WATER BOTTLES. No adults permitted down on the track to workout or for any other reason at any time during practice. Please feed your child a good snack before practice and have them use the restroom. Do not send with any snacks or food, only water is allowed down on the track. Talk to your child about not playing on any of the mats and equipment that is set up at the high school.
