MHS track will be closed due to high school competitions on these dates: 3/1, 3/20, 4/12, 4/17, 4/19, 4/23, and 4/26. Soccer playoffs are unknown at this time. Location of practice these dates TBD.
Gremlin Age Group (8 and Under): 100M, 200M, 400M, 800M, 1600M, 4x100 Relay, Long Jump
Bantam Age Group (9-10 years): 100M, 200M, 400M, 800M, 1600M, 4x100 Relay, 4x400 Relay, High Jump, Long Jump, 6 lb. Shot Put.
Midget Age Group (11-12 years): 80M Hurdles-30”, 100M, 200M, 400M, 800M, 1600M, 3200M, 4x100 Relay, 4x400 Relay, High Jump, Long Jump, 6 lb. Shot Put
Youth Age Group (13-14 years): 100M Low Hurdles (Boys 33”, Girls 30”), 100M, 200M, 400M, 800M, 1600M, 3200M, 4x100 Relay, 4x400 Relay, High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put (Boys 4 kg, Girls 6 lb)
Intermediate Age Group (15-18 years): 100M Hurdles-33”, 100M, 200M, 400M, 800M, 1600M, 3200M, 4x100 Relay, 4x400 Relay, High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put-4kg
A competitor in the Gremlin age group through Youth may participate in a maximum of four events with a maximum of three running events. Intermediate athletes may participate in a maximum of any four events. The 4x400 relay is a “free” running event that will not count against an athlete's number of events.

Team Practice Dates and Times:
First weeks of practice will be at Tierra Rejada park or Arroyo Vista park at an earlier time due to daylight needs. Practices normally start at 5:30 at MHS track.
Specialty Practices Date and Times:
Shot Put, Long Jump, Hurdles, Distance, High Jump and Sprints TBD
*specialty practices start the week of Feb 19th
PLEASE LABEL ALL JACKETS AND WATER BOTTLES. No adults permitted down on the track to workout or for any other reason at any time during practice. Please feed your child a good snack before practice and have them use the restroom. Do not send with any snacks or food, only water is allowed down on the track. Talk to your child about not playing on any of the mats and equipment that is set up at the high school.
